Inspired by history and nature

My sensibility is grounded in seminal memories of my grandmother Helen - dappled sun through windows, rooms rich with old mysterious things, the kitchen counter piled with warm cinnamon donuts, baskets of flowers brought in from the garden. It’s an aesthetic that draws upon the wonderment of childhood, collecting, artisanship, and the enveloping warmth of a well-made home.

I draw on years working for architects, decades of hands-on renovation experience, and an ongoing career in styling and photography. My approach to space-making is evocative, personal, and sustainably minded - always with the goal of imbuing the layered qualities of comfort, abundance, beauty and longevity.

one word to you, to
you and your children:

stay together
learn the flowers
go light” -Gary Snyder
